\u00ab Ik weet hoe mijn muziek begint, maar niet hoe ze eindigt. Alles hangt af van de ruimtelijke omstandigheden. Elke uitvoering is anders. Dat maakt het interessant. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Sander De Keere (Gent, 1992), een Belgische radiopresentator, componist en muzikant van minimal music.<\/p>\n

In januari 2022 verscheen zijn debuutalbum\u00a0Primitive Structures\u00a0<\/em>op het label W.E.R.F. records. Een zoektocht naar wat minimal music vandaag kan betekenen: minder in een wereld van steeds meer.\u00a0Primitive Structures\u00a0<\/em>brengt een antwoord op de grens tussen conceptuele en repetitieve patronen.<\/p>\n

Ge\u00efnspireerd door de expositiehal en de collectie gaat Sander op zoek naar de dialoog tussen muzikale composities als conceptueel werk en concreet muziekstuk.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Ik vind het fascinerend om op zoek te gaan naar herhaling met subtiele variatie. Hoe lang kan je bijvoorbeeld dezelfde zin proclameren zonder dat het eentonig wordt? Er zit verrassend veel muziek in de menselijke spreekstem. Een goede speech is ritmisch en melodisch goed onderbouwd. Eenzelfde zin kan je op honderd verschillende manieren zeggen. Ik onderzoek de muzikaliteit in de zin.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Ook voor zijn open studio concert op zaterdag 21 januari 2023, in het kader van de tentoonstelling ON THE LOOKOUT, nodigt Sander enkele gastmuzikanten uit, onder wie saxofonist Maarten Vergauwen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
