Fondation CAB is pleased to host Michel Tombroff, Saturday 8 June for a conference on the occasion of the publication of Zéro dièse existe : Art, mathématiques, inesthétique by Michel Tombroff (Éditions Mimésis, Collection Philosophie).

Michel Tombroff will discuss about the connections between art, mathematics and philosophy, and how these were transformed during the transition from the modern to the postmodern in the 1960s.

Michel Tombroff (b. 1964) is a visual artist who lives and works in Brussels. He graduated in electrical engineering from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and in theoretical computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). His artistic research explores the links between questions of formalization, subjectivity and aesthetics in art, mathematics and philosophy.
