Fondation CAB Brussels is pleased to invite you to the open studio of its 33th artist-in-residence, Marius Melissas (b. 1999 in Belgium).
Marius Melissas sees beyond tangible reality, viewing the universe as a continuous flow where “source energy” manifests as Nature. Creation, for him, requires a process of partial destruction, adaptation, and reconfiguration to become whole. He crafts regenerative paintings through experimentation, aligning his materials with his vision of natural harmony. Detached from conceptual or cultural meanings, his intuitive, free-flow style reflects the same universal flow. Melissas’ art invites us to forego interpretation and simply feel.
