Following on from his book Zéro dièse existe (Mimésis, 2024), the author explores the possibility of a “minimal” conceptual art: what becomes of the concept when it is reduced to almost nothing? What kind of formalism could sustain such radicality, and what dead ends might it encounter?
The exhibition “Art & Language, 1965–2025” at Fondation CAB provides an ideal setting for this reflection.
