Fondation CAB Brussels is pleased to present its 39th artist in residence, Diogo Pimentão (b. 1973, Lisbon, Portugal). Best known for his experimental works on paper, Diogo Pimentão’s practice challenges the traditional boundaries of drawing. He works primarily with paper and graphite, sometimes combined with video and performance, reflecting the aesthetic values of post-Minimalism. His works are notable for their inventive merging of medium and form. Rather than representing external concepts, they invite viewers to engage with the materiality of their components.
