Fondation CAB Brussels is delighted to present its artist-in-residence, Hadrien Loumaye (born in 1999, Brussels).
A graduate of ENSAV La Cambre and currently a PhD candidate at ULB, Hadrien Loumaye explores the intersection of gesture, color, and space. His practice, rooted in the serial production of artworks, lies between abstract expressionism and minimalism. Through modular paintings and layers of transparency, he creates “faux-monochrome” canvases of atmospheric depth, where each stroke remains a visible trace of the creative process. Balancing abstraction and landscape evocation, his work captures the fleeting imprint of memory.
