Mina Enowaki

From 01/08/2025 to 30/09/2025

Mina Enowaki (born 1998), winner of the Fondation CAB Prize for a master’s degree at La Cambre, is a French-Japanese artist whose multidisciplinary practice is anchored at the intersection of painting, photography, and sculpture. Her work weaves a sensitive dialogue between natural remains of mineral, plant, and animal origins and animistic beliefs from Japanese folklore.

Enowaki develops a unique visual language and explores the concepts of space, scale, and perspective by staging her paintings and sculptures in various contexts. Her work questions how objects interact with their surroundings, in a constant interplay between fiction and materiality.

In 2025, she published her first book with S U N (New York), in which she brought together a series of imaginary sculptures designed for a garden in Japan. This project marks the beginning of a new cycle in her practice, which she intends to continue with the creation of her first bronze sculptures as part of her residency at Fondation CAB.
