Résidence — Brussels

Quentin Lefranc

From 14/10/2026 to 17/10/2026

Fondation CAB Brussels is delighted to welcome French artist Quentin Lefranc (b. 1987, Tours) for a short  project residency in October. Working across sculpture, drawing, writing and video, Lefranc explores the relationship between body, movement and architecture, creating works in dialogue with the spaces in which they are presented. During his residency, he will present his video Floor Drawing.

Quentin Lefranc’s practice brings together drawing, sculpture, writing and video. His work often begins with gestures, movements and walks, exploring the relationship between the body, space and time. Architecture plays an important role in his practice, serving as a framework and a territory for works that are shaped in dialogue with their surroundings.

During his residency at Fondation CAB, Lefranc will present Floor Drawing, a video work that extends his interest in walking and drawing through movement. The work reflects on the lines traced by the body as it moves through space, blurring the boundaries between drawing, performance and the site itself.
