The demountable house by Jean Prouvé

6 x 6 meters, 1944

Double King Room
A demountable house, 6 x 6 m, 1944 by architect and designer Jean Prouvé (1901-1984), has been adapted into a bedroom with furniture signed Prouvé, while respecting its original structure. Attached to the house, a bathroom in the spirit of the original design was designed by architect Charles Zana. A unique experience for lovers of architecture and design of the 50s.

Spending a night in the Prouvé house of Fondation CAB is a real experience and a incomparable leap into the past. As the road is not far away, we have planned a pair of earplugs for sensitive ears.

The fondation has a café-restaurant, SOL. Breakfast not included, served à la carte.

Please note that the arrival is autonomous. Staff is present at the Foundation’s reception between 10am and 6pm.
